This fragrance doesn't scream 'wear me only in the evening' or 'put on high heels', it doesn't demand anything. Smell good in spring and summer in the day time with your nice dress or suit. All in all, I might have affairs with LVEB by Lancome, Coco by Chanel, Ange ou Demon by Givenchy, and Donna by Valentino, but Dune would be the one I'd marry. Unique # You can easily call it woody musk so contemporary this smell actually is. Beautiful for me this parfum the bottle is so pretty the scent I describe as flower and wood like being out in the country I smell rose jasmine and lily fresh oranges and soft vanilla with wood and musk. A clean fresh citrus floral parfum for the woman who like classic perfume, flowers and who can enjoy even aldehyde not a bad parfum and the price used to be more expensive but now is so affordable.Dune symbolizes escape into the world of dreams where only peace resides; it’s a place where sun kisses the sea, rays of light gently caresses the skin and twinkle in the warm sand while the tinkling ocean breeze brings flowery wafts peony and lily. This perfume is created by Nejla Barbir and its top note includes bergamot, mandarin, palisander, aldehyde, peony and broom followed by heart note composed of jasmine, rose, ylang-ylang, lily, wallflower, lichen.Base notes are vanilla, patchouli, benzoin, sandalwood, amber, oakmoss, and musk.
This is a meditative type perfume..quite dry, chic, and unlike the recent perfumes I’ve aquired. Amazing how this lil thing suddenly makes you feel so different and sophisticated. I have desired it ever since but been too afraid to venture back into old perfume territory (not to mention how prohibitively expensive it became).
It s pretty persistent on clothes, medium sillage on skin. Probably yes, just see how much time is on the market and still produced. The sand is creeping relentlessly upon the dunes; mesmerising and sultry like a phantom, like a dream of oasis, lagune, a luxurious travel experience, all expectations and promises.. Its fresh citrusey and coniferous opening is kind of tornado in the spicy heat of the Middle Eastern desert. I even tried using it as a room fragrance and quickly abandoned the idea. I think once one becomes older and wiser they will get to appreciate this gem.
I prefer wearing it in cold weather, despite its sunny name, as it might be a bit overwhelming in a hot weather. I never liked it, yet, here I am, in my 30s and I'm in love with it.
Dune is my comfort smell and it is the only one that always picks me up.
Since I first smelled it, I crave it regularly, it just doesn't leave me anymore.
